About

Hello, I'm Ariel! I grew up on the Great Lakes and have been swimming for as long as I can remember. I’m currently a fourth-year Kinesiology student at Queen’s University with three years of experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor. I have a strong background in working with children and truly enjoy it.

This past year, I’ve specialized in working with individuals of all ages with disabilities as a personal trainer, earning my Disability and Physical Activity (DIPA) certification. Through this experience, I’ve met many incredible people and gained valuable insight into a wide range of conditions. I’ve also been involved in inclusive sports events like the Motionball Marathon of Sport and the Winter Adaptive Games, which help children and young adults with disabilities stay active and have fun. I’m so excited to meet and work with everyone this year!

About

Hi, I’m Aurora! I’m a certified swim instructor, lifeguard (NLS), and first aid provider with two years of lifeguarding experience and one year of teaching swim lessons. I’ve had the opportunity to work at a pool that prioritizes accessibility for individuals with disabilities, which has helped me grow into a patient, inclusive, and adaptive instructor.

Outside the pool, I’m in my final year of high school and actively volunteer with several organizations, including Kids Can Fly, where I regularly engage with children through creative and educational programs. I also coach a variety of sports, which helps me bring energy, structure, and teamwork into my swim lessons.

Whether your child is just starting out or looking to improve their skills, I aim to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for every swimmer.
